Team Thomas' First Event!
We rose at 4:45 am to get ready and head from the Hotel so we could catch the 6:00 am Max to downtown. This is Thomas talking with someone on the train telling him about the race.
One thing new to me was instead of going to the corral to wait for the race to start, they bring the wheelchairs up to the front.
This was cool to see the wheelchairs and handcycles ready to roll, and a little intimidating at the same time when you turn around and see 10,000 people ready to trample you!
Moments to go. We sand the National Anthem and we were off!
